Southern Syria is surrendering to the forces of the Syrian army: deals have been concluded between the Syrian government and the militants, including jihadists belonging to Jabhat al-Nusra (aka Hayat Tahrir al-Sham). The main deal, supervised by the Russian forces, allows whoever is willing to go to the northern city of Idlib, which is becoming the largest gathering of jihadists, to join the caravan and board the green buses, carrying their personal light weapons.

Political wing of SDF to open offices in Latakia, Damascus, Hama, Homs

The political wing of the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) is going to open offices in several provinces inside Syria, the Spokesperson of the SDF, Ilham Ahmad, said on Thursday.

According to Ahmad, the SDF’s political wing will be opening offices in the provinces of Latakia, Damascus, Hama, and Homs.

Putin – Netanyahu meeting in Moscow

Much speculation and many “positive outcome” comments were released about a “secret deal” alleged to have taken place during the meeting between the Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last week in Moscow. The Israeli media described it as “successful”, like the last visits (three in the last six months). However, Russian sources say the opposite, despite the hints of positiveness Putin mentioned. These hints were exaggerated and interpreted by Netanyahu as “an achievement”.

Manbij Military Council denies Turkish army’s lies

Turkish army and AKP administration’s statements on “movements in Manbij” have been exposed as lies by the Manbij Military Council.

In a clear attempt to use Manbij as an electoral campaign issue, the AKP had said that Turkish soldiers had actually begun moving towards Manbij and indeed had entered the city.
