Ukraine | War on fake terror in Ukraine

After the outbreak of the civil war in Ukraine, the media controlled by the Kiev regime launched a powerful stigmatization campaign against the enemy. In the rhetoric of all pro-government media, the term “terrorists” was regularly used. It is used to refer to all the active supporters of the self-proclaimed People’s Republics of Donbas – Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republic. And these republics are named in the media as “terrorist organizations”. Representatives of the Kiev government regularly demand that international organizations recognize these republics as terrorist. One day, it became clear that all this was fake propaganda. In fact, there were no official body of Ukraine issued a decision on the recognition of DPR and LPR by terrorist organizations.

In Genichesk, Kherson region, the head of the SPAS party Eduard Kovalenko was sentenced to five years of imprisonment under Article 114-1 “Counteraction to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a special period”, reports “17 news”.

Kovalenko is accused of putting up in 2014 against the war in the Donbass and trying to prevent the sending of troops to the zone of the so-called ATO.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko just issued another set of targeted sanctions against Russian Internet corporations, effectively banning Vkontakte (VK.com) and Odnoklasniki (OK.ru). VK is Ukraine’s largest social network and the country’s second most visited website after Google. For VK, the Ukrainian market is the second largest after Russia. The social networks were blocked because of sanctions imposed against their parent company Mail.Ru Group.
