Ukraine | Unknown criminals destroyed monument to victims of fascist terror

On January 8 unknown criminals have blown up a memorial at the place of summary execution of Poles killed by the Galichina SS division fighters and employees of the Ukrainian police during World War II. This crime has been committed in the village of Guta Penyatska (The Lviv region).

Another shipload of America military hardware has arrived at the German port of Bremerhaven to reinforce US commitment to its allies against the perceived Russian threat, and ensure Europe remains “whole, free, prosperous, and at peace.”

The delivery of US Abrams tanks, Paladin artillery and Bradley fighting vehicles mark a new phase of Operation Atlantic Resolve. Over the last few days 2,800 pieces of military hardware and 4,000 troops have arrived at the port.

Venezuelan legislators appointed Thursday controversial right wing figure Julio Borges to head the National Assembly.

Borges has been a divisive figure in Venezuelan politics since supporting a failed 2002 coup against former socialist President Hugo Chavez, and for his ties with the US government.
