Germany | In Berlin criticized the NATO exercises near Russia’s borders

Foreign Minister of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier criticized NATO exercises in Eastern Europe near the Russian border. The Minister urged the Alliance not to aggravate the situation, “saber-rattling” and lead a more active dialogue with Russia.

The Minister of foreign Affairs of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier criticized the military exercises Saber Strike and Anakonda-2016, which NATO conducts in Eastern Europe. The opinion of the foreign Minister was ampulicidae in the newspaper Bild am Sonntag.

More Money Needed for Refugees and Migrants in Greece, Balkans

The U.N. refugee agency reports a multi-million-dollar appeal begun early this year on behalf of tens of thousands of refugees and migrants in Greece and along the Balkan route.

The U.N. refugee agency and 60 partner organizations appealed for about $555 million in January. The money was supposed to be enough to carry out Greek and Balkan aid operations until the end of the year.
