USA | US, NATO Give Russia 60 Days to Comply With Nuclear Treaty

After years of claiming Russia is violating the 1987 Intermediate Nuclear Forces (INF) treaty, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced on Tuesday that the US is giving Russia 60 days to comply with the deal.

Many UNAC leaders and members participated in the First International Conference against US/NATO Military Bases, which was held on November 16-18 at Liberty Hall in Dublin, Ireland and attended by more than 300 activists from 35 countries.   Around 60 people registered from the US.

France | French PM confirms fuel tax suspensions, calls for calm

French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe announced Tuesday new concessions to “yellow vest” protesters, including the suspension for six months of planned tax increases raising the price of fuel.

“No tax merits putting the unity of the nation in danger,” Philippe said in a televised address, adding that the anger on the streets “originates from a profound injustice: of not being able to live with dignity from one’s work”.
