Ukraine | Ukrainian Nazis Took Revenge on Odessa Residents Who Celebrated the Liberation of Ukraine From Hitler’s Fascists

The residents of Odessa on October 28th carried out a rally in honor of the 74th anniversary of the liberation of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic from fascist aggressors. And with nightfall Ukrainian Nazis came out into the city center in order to desecrate the place where people were massively burnt in the House of Trade Unions, which relatives still regularly come to for mourning events.

As the activist Moris Ibragim reported, from the morning the inhabitants of Odessa laid flowers at the Walk of Glory, having defiantly held a ceremony separately from the event of state officials.

“On this day our concept about this holiday is different to that of the Ukrainian authorities. We can’t stand near representatives of the authorities who consider that the Red Army were occupiers, we can’t be near those representatives of the authorities who say that they are not liberators, but occupiers. We can’t stand near those who say that it is Stalin who started the war, and not Hitler. If we stand near them, then it will mean that we practically share their point of view. Regardless of who is the mayor or governor of the city, they are still representative of the authorities. We can’t stand near those who in general exclude the phrase ‘Great Patriotic War’,” said Ibragim.

Several hours later, with nightfall, thugs from the Nazi C14 group took to the streets of Odessa. They came to Kulikovo Field to the House of Trade Unions, where in May, 2014 the militants that were transported there, on the orders of the authorities of Ukraine, burned alive dozens of Odessa residents who were opponents of Euromaidan.

Brazil | Brazil election: defeat for humanity – victory for Bolsonaro, Trump and US imperialism

Jair Bolsonaro has won Brazil’s Presidential election in the final round. Bolsonaro has secured 55% of the vote, defeating the Workers Party candidate Fernando Haddad.

Bolsonaro has been propelled to victory by a sophisticated imperialist intervention coordinated by the US, in alliance with the right wing in Brazil. This imperialist intervention took the form of decapitating the left – starting with the Parliamentary coup against Dilma Rousseff in 2016 and then the imprisonment of Lula da Silva earlier this year. It also took the form of building up the far right candidate, Bolsonaro, in light of the collapse of Brazil’s traditional centre-right bourgeois political party, the Social Democracy Party (PSDB). Trump’s former chief strategist Steve Bannon was an advisor on Bolsonaro’s campaign and millions of dollars were given by international capital to spread inflammatory, reactionary fake news and slander against the Workers Party on the scale of a tsunami.

Afghanistan: a ridiculed Election Show of US-NATO

On October 20, 2018, there were Parliamentary Elections in Afghanistan. The election was fully funded and influenced by US-NATO to give legitimacy to their puppet regime in Kabul. Obviously, holding so-called election in an occupied country never represent the will and interest of the people of occupied country but rather it serves for the military, political and economic interests of NATO leading countries headed by US, UK, Germany and France.
