Neoliberal Europe and the far right: two sides of the same coin

The success of the far-right’s pseudo-communal proposal is dialectically interrelated with the cannibalistic neoliberal project of Europe’s ruling elite.

Today’s Europe exhibits strong far-right tendencies at the top levels of political power. In the recent presidential elections in Austria, the far-right Freedom Party came first by gaining 36 percent of the vote, before its candidate Norbert Hofer was narrowly defeated by the former Green Party leader Alexander Van der Bellen in the second round.

Syrian Army, IRGC recapture several points in southern Aleppo

A large unit of reinforcements from the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) poured into the southern Aleppo countryside last night in order to help push back the swarming jihadist rebels.

With enough manpower to combat the jihadist rebels, the Syrian Armed Forces, alongside the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Harakat Al-Nujaba (Iraqi paramilitary), recaptured several points near the villages of Zeitan, Burnah, and Hummayra in southern Aleppo this morning.
