France launches air strikes against Islamic State in Syria

France said on Sunday it launched its first air strikes in Syria, destroying an Islamic State training camp in the east of the country to prevent the group from carrying out attacks against French interests and to protect Syrian civilians.

France had until now only struck Islamic State targets in neighboring Iraq, carrying out just 3 percent of air strikes in an offensive on the group by a U.S.-led coalition. France has also provided limited logistical support to Syrian rebels it considers moderate, including Kurds.

Moldovan Left take the initiative

The national crisis deepened in Moldova. Focused on European Union oligarchs brought the Moldovan society in a dead end. On this basis, mass protests have started in the country. First, the pro-Western forces tried to lead the protests. Many analysts have started talking about the beginning of the Maidan in Moldova.
However, the recent rallies of pro-Western forces have ceased to be widespread. But supporters of rapprochement with Russia became active in contrast to them. September 15 Moldovan Socialists held mass demonstrations calling for joining the Customs Union and the gap disadvantageous for Moldova agreements with the EU. The rally was attended by more than 40 thousand people.
September 27 supporters of the gap with the EU and close relations to Russia organized a more mass rally. It was attended by about 100 thousand people.
The rally organized by the Socialist Party and the “Our Party”. During the rally, protest leaders have formulated demands to the authorities: the resignation of the president of Moldova, the government, the heads of security agencies, as well as the release of political prisoners.
To show its seriousness, the protesters set several hundred tents and made their protest indefinite.

Ukraine | Poroshenko concerned about stability in ISIL

Well known Ukrainian media expert Anatoly Sharij was shocked after a listening to new interview given by Ukrainian president. President Poroshenko has answered a question about recent Russian activity at Middle East. In his opinion Russian activity in foreign countries is always a factor of destabilization. In order to illustrate his statement Poroshenko began to name endangered states and he has started the list from Islamic state. So Poroshenko is concerned with stability of reactionary terrorist formation. While all prominent political leaders condemn ISIL despite all conflicts and tensions, Poroshenko has opposite view.

After what has been described as “repeated requests” by the White House, President Obama has agreed to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly on Monday.

Ukraine | The Nazis in Kharkov tried to arrange a pogrom

September 23 Ukrainian fascists attacked the house of Kharkov politician Mikhail Dobkin, one of the leaders of the party “Opposition bloc”. The organizer of the attack was a Nazi regiment “Azov”. After the action of intimidation radicals went to the building of the Kharkov City Council, where they tried to break through the gate and made a scuffle with the police. Mayor of Kharkov Gennady Kernes was forced to interrupt a session of the City Council.
The police did not allow the Nazis break into the building. However, they are severely beaten by a policeman and tore his clothes.
After the assault Dobkin said that he’ll take his family from Ukraine and he personally will stay in Ukraine and continue to fight to the end with the Kiev regime.
At the same time, the Minister of Internal Affairs called the assault on the Dobkin’s house “ugly action” and said that Dobkin himself provoked the attack.
